Things sure have changed since my wedding day, especially the fantastic accessories and reception supplies available. It’s amazing what is out there and the variety you can choose from. There were plenty of suggestions for beach weddings that I thought were very nice with little seashells, starfish and other oceanside designs. They have summer and spring designs to choose from that are just awesome. You could get beautiful new wedding accessories for all 4 seasons. I know the winter wonderland wedding supplies were absolutely exquisite with that gorgeous sparkle of the winter season. You would be surprised how many people have weddings in the winter and have it outside. That sounds beautiful, but it seems just a little too modern, and too cold for my taste. I think I’d rather have my winter wonderland wedding and reception, indoors, where it’s warm. Maybe a ski resort would be a good place for a winter wedding, with all the fireplaces and cozy winter atmosphere.

Autumn is a beautiful time of the year and my favorite, and it would be a great time to have a wedding. Autumn is the best season for me and the best time to have a wedding, with it’s colorful background as your main motif. When I was married many years ago the only options you had was a church wedding or a county building to get married. Today there are so many various weddings you can plan, that you can have the wedding you always wanted. There are even destination weddings, where you have a few close friends and family go along to the location of your choice for you ceremony. It’s like having a family elopement. You can choose from a terrific new wedding party favor selection - they have everything from old style weddings to long distance weddings.

In a few months my daughter will be married and I offered to help her plan her wedding and she decided to have a country western wedding. I would of never guessed that a country western wedding would be so great until I helped my daughter plan hers. She found cake toppers that have a western theme to them, plus everything she needed for her bridal table, including western champagne flutes. They’re really quite unique looking. To make the atmosphere more western she put some hay bales, set up barbecue grills around and even hired a country western band. There will be lights and lanterns strung throughout the reception, giving it that western look. She order western place card holders and watercans for the centerpieces and put flowers in them. They’ve arranged to rent a dude ranch for this event, which really surprised me, because, I didn’t know you could even do that. She ordered quite a few wedding accessories online that will go perfectly with the country western theme. She bought bride and groom cowboy hats there for her and her fiance and the cutest little new wedding invitations for each of their guests.

Instead of a normal reception it is looking more like a family get together that has hayrides and outdoor grills. I know it will be a lot of fun and enjoyment for everybody. They even planned to have some country western line dancing in the barn. Now that I knew what to expect I decided to get all the western gear, like blue jeans, cowboy boots, and cowboy hats so I can participate in all the fun. Everybody will always remember this wedding. With our anniversary coming up soon, I may take my daughters idea and have a country western renewal ceremony and reception.

I found some great deals on new weddings!

Things sure have changed since my wedding day, especially the fantastic accessories and reception supplies available. When I started browsing the internet I found so many beautiful wedding and reception accessories for almost any type of wedding you could imagine. There were plenty of suggestions for beach weddings that I thought were very nice with little seashells, starfish and other oceanside designs. They have summer and spring designs to choose from that are just awesome. I found very exceptional new wedding selections for seasonal ceremonies. I know the winter wonderland wedding supplies were absolutely exquisite with that gorgeous sparkle of the winter season. Did you know that some couples actually have a winter wedding outside? That sounds beautiful, but it seems just a little too modern, and too cold for my taste. I think I would be just fine with an indoor winter wedding and reception. Maybe a ski resort would be a good place for a winter wedding, with all the fireplaces and cozy winter atmosphere.

An autumn wedding is so gorgeous and one of my favorite seasons, and has lot to offer in wedding accessories and reception supplies. An autumn wedding would be so beautiful because of the beautiful scenery with the colors changing and awesome fall scents in the air. My wedding day was so long ago that the choices we had were being married in the church or running away and getting married. Today there are so many various weddings you can plan, that you can have the wedding you always wanted. I’ve heard of weddings where the location is out of state or even the country and all the friends and famliy fly to that location to have the wedding ceremony. It’s like having a family elopement. There are also a great new favor selection, from everything from traditional to destination weddings that you can buy for your reception.

In a few months my daughter will be married and I offered to help her plan her wedding and she decided to have a country western wedding. When she told me her idea for the wedding, I thought oh boy this is going to be one weird wedding, but as we were planning it I saw how awesome it was going to be. My daughter found all the western accessories to plan her wedding and make it a success. They’re really quite unique looking. She’s set up a country band, barbecue grills and hay bales that will be part of the party decor. She plans to string lights and lanterns everywhere outside for her big country reception party. She order western place card holders and watercans for the centerpieces and put flowers in them. It amazed me when I found out that they were having the wedding at a ranch because I never heard of renting one for a special occasion before. She purchased many wedding and reception embellishments on the internet and they went with the country western style. She also purchased cowboy hats for herself and her groom and the most adorable new party favors for her guests.

It’s looks like when this is finished being planned, that it will be a big family barbecue with dear friends. Which when I think of it, sounds like a pretty good time for all. I was surprised to hear that they are going to have a barn dance in a good ole country western style. Now that I knew what to expect I decided to get all the western gear, like blue jeans, cowboy boots, and cowboy hats so I can participate in all the fun. This wedding is going to be the wedding of the year and probably won’t be forgotten for a long time. Thanks to my daughters great country themed wedding, she’s given me a great idea for our anniversary.

Do your research before choosing wedding favor ideas!

I put a lot of thought about the theme for our wedding ceremony and reception. I checked on three different themes, beach, garden and country western. Then I thought maybe I should just stick with the traditional type of ceremony and reception. Then I found out about destination weddings and that one got me thinking. A destination wedding in Vegas or maybe the gorgeous oceanside in Hawaii sounded awesome. I would love a tropical island wedding. I soon put that idea to rest, there are too many people on our guestlist for a wedding like that.
But there were a lot of other ideas to work with, including a winter wonderland wedding. But since we were getting married in the summer months, I didn’t think I should go with a snow scene. I wanted a wedding fit for a king and queen, and what better way to do that then with a storybook wedding. There were plenty of fairy tale accessories and ideas to work with for the perfect story book wedding. The bakery even had wedding cakes that worked out with my idea. So I finally made up my mind. Cinderella and Prince Charming were getting married.
I went online and found fairy tale invitations that I could send out. Next I started checking out all the wedding accessories and reception supplies I would need. I picked out floor length dresses for the girls in my wedding party, and found an exquisite gown for myself. My handsome fiance and all of his wedding party looked so elegant in their tuxes, even the little ring boy looked like royalty. I could feel all eyes on me as I walked down the aisle, and half way expected them to bow to their new queen. Everything about our ceremony was exquisite. The flowers, the candles, and the gorgeous satin bows on the end of the pews really set the whole thing off. As we were leaving the church, everyone tossed rose petals and cheered us on. Instead of a limo, we had a horse drawn carriage waiting outside.
Our reception was a total success, with all the storybook accessories, it looked like the inside of a castle. I had no problem when it came to the decorations or the wonderful wedding favors I had for our guests. I even found the perfect favor boxes to put each themed wedding reception favor in for our guests. There were so many accessories to choose from to help with our storybook reception. They had storybook champagne flutes and little coaches for place card holders. I couldn’t have pulled this off without the wonderful accessories they have for fairytale weddings.
Everyone had a fabulous time and I received a lot of compliments on the décor. One of our guests stated that she’d never seen such a gorgeous ceremony as ours. I know I was impressed and it was my wedding. I’m so glad that I chose this theme and found so many accessories to help me make it happen. I wanted this to be special for our friends and family too, the way it was for us. I made sure their wedding party favors were of a storybook theme, just like our wedding cake and other accessories. I wanted to give our guests more than just favors, that’s why I chose gifts that could also be used as souvenirs. I wanted to give them something they would look back on with fond memories.
After the honeymoon was over, there was the job of filling out thank you notes for all of our guests. There was even thank you notes available in storybook theme. I wonder if we could do this again for our anniversary?

Making the right choice when it comes to cheap wedding favors

I put a lot of thought about the theme for our wedding ceremony and reception. I checked on three different themes, beach, garden and country western. But I also considered having a traditional wedding. I also thought about a fantastic destination wedding. How great would it be to have a ceremony and reception in Las Vegas, or maybe take it all the way to Hawaii? I would love a tropical island wedding. I soon put that idea to rest, there are too many people on our guestlist for a wedding like that.
But there were a lot of other ideas to work with, including a winter wonderland wedding. But since we were getting married in July, that just didn’t seem appropriate. I wanted a wedding fit for a king and queen, and what better way to do that then with a storybook wedding. With all the accessories there are available, I could have the wedding of my dreams. The bakery even had wedding cakes that worked out with my idea. So this was final. Cinderella and Prince Charming were getting married.
I had no problem finding the perfect wedding invitations online. Next I started checking out all the wedding accessories and reception supplies I would need. I bought the most beautiful wedding gown I could find at the bridal shop and had my bridesmaids and little flower girl in exquisite floor length dresses, all with tiaras. The groom (my prince) and all of the groomsmen and ring boy wore tuxes that made them all look so elegant and sophisticated. As I made my way down the aisle to my handsome prince Charming I felt like I was living a dream. Our wedding ceremony was more beautiful than I could have hoped for. The flowers, the candles, and the gorgeous satin bows on the end of the pews really set the whole thing off. As we were leaving the church, everyone tossed rose petals and cheered us on. Outside we climbed into a gorgeous horse drawn carriage to take us to the reception hall.
A real castle wouldn’t haved looked as good as our reception hall with all of the fantastic accessories and decorations. I had no problem when it came to the decorations or the wonderful wedding favors I had for our guests. I even found the perfect favor boxes to put each themed wedding party favor in for our guests. There were so many accessories to choose from to help with our storybook reception. I bought little coaches that made perfect place card holders, and exquisite champagne flutes with a storybook design. They just have everything I could possibly need for the perfect fairy tale wedding and reception.
Everyone had a fabulous time and I received a lot of compliments on the décor. One of our guests stated that she’d never seen such a gorgeous ceremony as ours. I know I was impressed and it was my wedding. I think I made the right choice when I chose this theme, and I’m glad I could find so many great accessories to help. Since this was a special day in my life, I wanted everything to be special. Everything from our wedding cake topper to the wedding gifts for our friends and family went with our storybook theme. I felt that a momento of this special day would mean more than any other gift I could give them. Something that could hold the memory of today for them as well as for us.
After the honeymoon was over, there was the job of filling out thank you notes for all of our guests. Believe it or not, I was able to get thank you notes with a fairytale theme. I wonder if we could do this again for our anniversary?

When you’re looking for a wedding gift…

Tuesday, December 1st, 2009

It took me a while before I could decide on a theme for our ceremony and reception party. I checked on three different themes, beach, garden and country western. Then I thought maybe I should just stick with the traditional type of ceremony and reception. I also thought about a fantastic destination wedding. How great would it be to have a ceremony and reception in Las Vegas, or maybe take it all the way to Hawaii? I would probably go for the Hawaii destination. But then I thought about all the people that would be disappointed that they couldn’t be there, and I had to toss that idea in the dumpster.
Then I thought about a winter themed wedding. But since we were getting married in the summer months, I didn’t think I should go with a snow scene. So I decided to go with every young girls dream of marrying a prince, and chose to have a storybook wedding, just like in the fairy tales I read as a child. With all the accessories there are available, I could have the wedding of my dreams. I also found a place to get the perfect fairy tale wedding cake for a gorgeous royal wedding. So I finally made up my mind. I wanted a fairy tale wedding and reception.
I had no problem finding the perfect wedding invitations online. Next I started checking out all the wedding accessories and reception supplies I would need. My wedding dress was absolutely gorgeous and the bridesmaids and flower girl had beautiful dresses that were floor length. All of the groomsmen and the ring boy looked so handsome in their tuxes, but the best looking one of all, was my regal prince. As I made my way down the aisle to my handsome prince Charming I felt like I was living a dream. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding ceremony. The flowers, the candles, and the gorgeous satin bows on the end of the pews really set the whole thing off. As we were leaving the church, everyone tossed rose petals and cheered us on. Outside we climbed into a gorgeous horse drawn carriage to take us to the reception hall.
Our reception was a total success, with all the storybook accessories, it looked like the inside of a castle. I was able to find all the accessories I needed for this special themed wedding and some very lovely wedding favors for our friends and family. I had every wedding reception favor done up in storybook themed favor boxes. I can’t believe all the accessories I was able to get for my fairy tale reception. I decided on little coaches for place card holders and the gorgeous place card holders that looked just like Cinderella coach. I couldn’t have pulled this off without the wonderful accessories they have for fairytale weddings.
Everyone had a fabulous time and I received a lot of compliments on the décor. One of my guests said it was the most beautiful ceremony she’d ever been too. I have to admit, it was quite special. I’m so glad that I chose this theme and found so many accessories to help me make it happen. I wanted today to be as special for our guests as it was for me and my new husband. Everything at our reception was in a fairytale theme, even our cake, so I wanted themed wedding party favors too. I felt that a momento of this special day would mean more than any other gift I could give them. Something that could hold the memory of today for them as well as for us.
As soon as we returned from our honeymoon, I got started on all the thank you notes I needed to mail out. Believe it or not, I was able to get thank you notes with a fairytale theme. I wonder if we could do this again for our anniversary?
