A theme wedding is my favorite. They can be so much fun. I got to go to a really super wedding and reception last weekend. It was a country western themed ceremony.
The ceremony took place in a small country church. They had satin bows and ribbon to decorate the pews and beautiful flower arrangements with candles all around the altar. The bridesmaids and flower girl wore gorgeous baby blue dresses with flowered hair pieces. The little ring boy was adorable in his little tux, and the groomsmen were very handsome in theirs, with the white boutonnieres in the lapels. But nothing could compare to the elegance of the bride and groom. They made such a handsome couple. A horse drawn buggy awaited to take the bride and groom to the reception.
The couple had purchased a nice little ranch outside of town and that’s where they decided to have their reception. This was a prime piece of property, with a nice house, a barn and two acres of land. I hate to admit it, but I’m a little jealous of all they have accomplished just starting out.
You could tell at one glance how hard she worked at setting this reception in motion. Everything was fantastic. Each checkered tablecloth had centerpieces of wild flowers in little metal buckets. She did a fantastic job, not just with the décor, but also the themed favors. White christmas lights mixed in with a few lanterns completely encircled the picnic tables. The corn stalks and bales of hay really made this the perfect picture of a down home reception. There were so much set up for adults and kids to enjoy. Some of the kids were bobbing for apples while others were into a wild game of horse shoes, and still others were trying their hand at line dancing. Everyone was having the time of their lives.
The wedding cake was spectacular and the wedding topper had us all in stitches. It was the perfect themed cake topper. They even had country themed champagne flutes for the bridal toast. And on each and every table she had little cowboy hats that were used as place card holders. Everyone thought they were so cute.
There were so many delicious dishes served at the reception. Since this was more like a country barbecue, there was plenty choices of meats, salads and vegetables. There was more than enough to eat. The fun never stopped, we danced, ate great foods, and had a fantastic time. We all had a wonderful time at the country western themed party.
Another fun reception is a beach party reception. A beach wedding ceremony is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. You can feel the romance in the air as the sun sets on the horizon. It’s like a romantic novel with the crashing of waves and the warm gentle breeze all around you. I plan on having a beach wedding and reception too, one day.
The bridesmaids wore gorgeous summer dresses and the groomsmen wore drawstring pants and linen shirts. She made a lovely bride in her ocean blue flowing crepe dress, and he was such a handsome groom in his white linen beach outfit. You couldn’t ask for a more perfect ceremony than this wonderful dream wedding.
Their reception was more than elegant too. All the tables were decorated with the beach theme in mind. She had a wonderful idea for centerpieces, with seashells, starfish and orchids surrounding two large white candles in a tray of sand. Her crystal champagne glasses had beach themed stems and her place card holders were little seashells.
She did a marvelous job decorating in a beach motif, from her wedding cake topper to the lovely theme wedding favors that I was infatuated with. This was one of the most memorable weddings I’ve ever attended.

December 3rd, 2009I love attending a theme wedding. They truly can be a lot of fun. I just went to one of the best weddings and receptions I’ve ever attended. It was a country western themed ceremony.

Another fun reception is a beach party reception. The beauty of a beach wedding is just amazing. The sun setting in the water makes a very romantic scene. With the feel of warm breezes and the sounds of the water, you can feel the romance in the air. If I ever get married, I think this is the type of ceremony and reception I would want to have.

The reception was something special too. All the tables were decorated with the beach theme in mind. The centerpieces were little trays filled with sand and two large pillar candles with seashells, starfish and orchids all around them. She had the most adorable sea shell place card holders and beautiful beach themed champagne glasses on all her tables.
Her beach décor was fabulous and she had everything from a beach cake topper to theme wedding cakes that worked perfectly. This was a ceremony and reception I will never forget.
The Perfect Wedding Photo Album!
December 3rd, 2009After it was decided that we were going to have a beach wedding, I went shopping for accessories and supplies with a beach theme in mind. The first thing to get was the invitations for our beach themed wedding. I made sure I had plenty of extra invitations, just in case I had to rewrite some of them, and it’s a good thing I did. With the invitations all done and on their way to our prospective guests, I could move on to picking out the beach wedding dress I wanted for our ceremony. I looked at several dresses and gorgeous full length gowns, but really couldn’t make up my mind. I fell in love with two of the floor length gowns, but wasn’t quite sure if it would be uncomfortable to wear to a beach wedding. I found a beautiful beaded knee length dress made of light weight materials of satin and lace, with spaghetti straps for my wedding.
My bridesmaids looked so lovely in their haltered beach dresses of cool linen with a crocheted bodice. My fiance’s wedding attire consisted of a blue shirt and white pants made of linen, and his groomsmen were also dressed in linen, with white shirts and sandy colored pants. The little ring boy wore a white cotton shirt and khaki shorts, and our flower girl was so cute in a light fabric sundress. All of the wedding party looked great in their wedding attire and the flower arrangements for our bouquets were the most gorgeous I’ve ever seen.
I kept thinking how I should have bought two albums for wedding, because I wanted lots of pictures of our wonderful beach wedding and reception. I planned to have pictures of all the fantastic decorations at our wedding and reception and photos of every guest that attended. I especially wanted photos of us taking our vows under the beautiful flowered arch and satin canopy we had put up. When the ceremony was over, my new husband and I went to our hotel room to change into some more comfortable beach outfits. In fact a few of the bridesmaids and groomsmen also left to change, while others just wore swim suits under their wedding attire. The guests were informed on the invitations to wear casual clothing.
Our reception was such a big success, and everyone complimented us on our gorgeous wedding accessories and how lovely all of our tables were. I bought everything for our tables at the same place I bought our lovely beach themed wedding album. The place card holders I chose were these miniature beach chairs that can later be used as photo frames. I really liked them and I’m sure our guests did too. They also had beach wedding favors that I just had to have for our guests. I chose adorable tea lights that looked just like sand castles to remind them of our beach party. There was so many terrific accessories and beach décor for our reception tables and our wedding table. Not only did I find the perfect wedding cake topper, but I also bought their beach themed crystal flutes, wine glasses, cake serving set and so much more.
Some of the guests were commenting on the gorgeous décor of our reception tables. Adding to the oceanside atmosphere were lots of gel candles I bought from them to put on our reception tables, and a few tiki torches were placed around the area. Planning this beach wedding and reception was a lot easier than I thought it would be, with all the accessories and supplies they had. The beautiful ocean whitecaps and the warm sandy beach made the perfect dream wedding and reception location.

Choosing the Right professional wedding album!
December 3rd, 2009Once we decided on a beach wedding, I started looking for all my accessories and supplies they had in a beach motif. First things first, I bought our beach themed wedding invitations. I made sure I had plenty of extra invitations, just in case I had to rewrite some of them, and it’s a good thing I did. After I got the invitations out of the way, my next step was finding the right dress for a beach wedding. I looked at several dresses and gorgeous full length gowns, but really couldn’t make up my mind. The full length bridal gowns were so beautiful, but I was afraid they may be too uncomfortable for a beach wedding. So, even though I loved the gowns, I chose a lightweight knee length beaded satin dress with a gorgeous lace covering and spaghetti straps.
Linen beach dresses with a crocheted halter covering was what I chose for my bridesmaids. My fiance’s wedding attire consisted of a blue shirt and white pants made of linen, and his groomsmen were also dressed in linen, with white shirts and sandy colored pants. The little ring boy wore a white cotton shirt and khaki shorts, and our flower girl was so cute in a light fabric sundress. I found the most lovely flower bouquets for the bridesmaids and myself, and the entire wedding party looked absolutely perfect.
I wish now,with all the photos of our wedding being taken, that I would have bought two wedding photo albums, instead of only one. I planned to have pictures of all the fantastic decorations at our wedding and reception and photos of every guest that attended. Pictures of our satin canopy and flowered arch where we stood to take our vows was a definite must. After we were pronounced husband and wife, we left for the hotel to change from our wedding attire to our beach attire. Although a few of our wedding party went home to change into their beach clothes, there were some that decided to just wear their swimsuits under their wedding clothes. The guests were informed on the invitations to wear casual clothing.

It’s amazing what is out there and the variety you can choose from. There were plenty of suggestions for beach weddings that I thought were very nice with little seashells, starfish and other oceanside designs. They have summer and spring designs to choose from that are just awesome. You could get beautiful new wedding accessories for all 4 seasons. I know the winter wonderland wedding supplies were absolutely exquisite with that gorgeous sparkle of the winter season. You would be surprised how many people have weddings in the winter and have it outside. That sounds beautiful, but it seems just a little too modern, and too cold for my taste. I think I’d rather have my winter wonderland wedding and reception, indoors, where it’s warm. Maybe a ski resort would be a good place for a winter wedding, with all the fireplaces and cozy winter atmosphere.
Autumn is a beautiful time of the year and my favorite, and it would be a great time to have a wedding. Autumn is the best season for me and the best time to have a wedding, with it’s colorful background as your main motif. When I was married many years ago the only options you had was a church wedding or a county building to get married. Today there are so many various weddings you can plan, that you can have the wedding you always wanted. There are even destination weddings, where you have a few close friends and family go along to the location of your choice for you ceremony. It’s like having a family elopement. You can choose from a terrific new wedding party favor selection - they have everything from old style weddings to long distance weddings.
In a few months my daughter will be married and I offered to help her plan her wedding and she decided to have a country western wedding. I would of never guessed that a country western wedding would be so great until I helped my daughter plan hers. Instead of a normal reception it is looking more like a family get together that has hayrides and outdoor grills. I know it will be a lot of fun and enjoyment for everybody. They even planned to have some country western line dancing in the barn. Now that I knew what to expect I decided to get all the western gear, like blue jeans, cowboy boots, and cowboy hats so I can participate in all the fun. Everybody will always remember this wedding. With our anniversary coming up soon, I may take my daughters idea and have a country western renewal ceremony and reception.

This would of helped in my planning if I would have known about all ideas on the computer. AMAZING Graduation Party Invitations
December 2nd, 2009I’m giving my best friend a bridal shower and before I even got started I sat down and made a list of all the things I needed to buy for the party. Goal number one was finding a graduation party invitation. I checked out what the Internet had to offer because I don’t really like the hassle of shopping from store to store. I hit the jackpot there. The options I had were staggering, and the cost was very low. I even got a few items at a great discount price. The shower invitations were very high quality with pearl edges and silver writing. The site also had standard party invitations, birthday party invitations, and many other types of invitations.
There were some great little accessories for my shower too, like place card holders for all the little tables I had set up. Another item I picked out for the bride was a sign-in book for guests so that she could keep track of who gave her what gifts easily. There was also a cute idea for a place card holder that I really liked. They had these little plastic handbags that I filled with colorful little candies and found place cards with pink lilies printed on them. Next to the other decorations and presents, they were a real eye-catcher. There’s no type of party that doesn’t have a gift box designed for it. Flower decorations were on the containers I picked out, and I put them all on a serving dish on the table that held the gifts. It looked very decorative like that and each lady just took a gift from the plate. As thank you gifts I decided on manicure sets for everyone, and I bought a few extra gifts as prizes for the party games we were going to play. Some of the other odds and ends I used for door prizes were adorable little bath soaps, make-up mirrors, and novelty keychains.
I went online and got some great game ideas for the party too. In the the game ‘Take It Off,’ each person put a bag over their head and they have to take off one piece of clothing when the leader of the game tells them to, and it doesn’t occur to all of the women to take of the bag; it’s very amusing to watch. That is a funny experience you’ll never forget. There are other mirthful games that we did, like bridal bingo. I’m so glad I thought to browse the internet, else wise I wouldn’t have gotten such great deals and accessories. The favors and invitations I bought were a bargain. Not only did I get high quality accessories, but they didn’t cost me half of what I had expected to pay for it all, and there were so many options to choose from. This site I found also has wedding invitations and favors, so I made it a point to inform my friend who was getting married about it, since I was sure she would want to know about this place. So, maybe ordering her accessories and reception supplies from here will help her out in the planning and the finances. The bridal shower wouldn’t have been as good without it. We all had a super time and all my favors and other accessories really impressed my guests. The last thing to do is to send them all thank yous for being a guest at the shower. December 2nd, 2009I put a lot of thought about the theme for our wedding ceremony and reception. I checked on three different themes, beach, garden and country western. Then I thought maybe I should just stick with the traditional type of ceremony and reception. Then I found out about destination weddings and that one got me thinking. A destination wedding in Vegas or maybe the gorgeous oceanside in Hawaii sounded awesome. I would love a tropical island wedding. I soon put that idea to rest, there are too many people on our guestlist for a wedding like that.
But there were a lot of other ideas to work with, including a winter wonderland wedding. But since we were getting married in the summer months, I didn’t think I should go with a snow scene. I wanted a wedding fit for a king and queen, and what better way to do that then with a storybook wedding. There were plenty of fairy tale accessories and ideas to work with for the perfect story book wedding. The bakery even had wedding cakes that worked out with my idea. So I finally made up my mind. Cinderella and Prince Charming were getting married.
I went online and found fairy tale invitations that I could send out. Next I started checking out all the wedding accessories and reception supplies I would need. I picked out floor length dresses for the girls in my wedding party, and found an exquisite gown for myself. My handsome fiance and all of his wedding party looked so elegant in their tuxes, even the little ring boy looked like royalty. They had storybook champagne flutes and little coaches for place card holders. I couldn’t have pulled this off without the wonderful accessories they have for fairytale weddings.
Everyone had a fabulous time and I received a lot of compliments on the décor. One of our guests stated that she’d never seen such a gorgeous ceremony as ours. I know I was impressed and it was my wedding. I’m so glad that I chose this theme and found so many accessories to help me make it happen. I wanted this to be special for our friends and family too, the way it was for us. I made sure their wedding party favors were of a storybook theme, just like our wedding cake and other accessories. I wanted to give our guests more than just favors, that’s why I chose gifts that could also be used as souvenirs. I wanted to give them something they would look back on with fond memories.
After the honeymoon was over, there was the job of filling out thank you notes for all of our guests. There was even thank you notes available in storybook theme. I wonder if we could do this again for our anniversary?

Next to the other decorations and presents, they were a real eye-catcher. No matter what the reason for the gathering, they have an appropriate favor box to go with it. I chose little floral patterned boxes which I stacked on a cake plate in layers and sat on the gift table. It was a good-looking way to set it up, and everyone there just came by and grabbed a gift. As thank you gifts I decided on manicure sets for everyone, and I bought a few extra gifts as prizes for the party games we were going to play. I found some random things to hand out as awards, such as unique key rings, little vanity mirrors, and special soaps.
Party game suggestions abound on the Internet. There was a real funny one called ‘Take It Off ‘ where everyone puts a paper bag over their heads and then the hostess tells everyone to remove one article, and you’d be surprised how many ladies don’t think to remove the bag. This is really a hysterical game to play. We also played bridal bingo and a couple other funny games. Looking online saved me a ton of money and exposed me to a lot of options I, otherwise, wouldn’t have known anything about. The favors and invitations I bought were a bargain. Not only did I get high quality accessories, but they didn’t cost me half of what I had expected to pay for it all, and there were so many options to choose from. This site I found also has wedding invitations and favors, so I made it a point to inform my friend who was getting married about it, since I was sure she would want to know about this place. She’ll have a lot of options when she uses this site, and it will save her a pretty penny, which all newlyweds need. The shower was a hit because of them, I know that much. The attendees all adored their presents and had a wonderful time. The last thing to do is to send them all thank yous for being a guest at the shower. The thank you cards, as you might expect, were purchased on the net as well. Now I have to go back online because I’m helping my friend plan her sons’ birthday party and they have quite a bit to offer there too.
